playing games and doing fun stuff.
I’m Nedim, a Backend Engineer who loves building reliable, automated, and scalable cloud-native services. I’ve been doing this backend stuff for over 4 years. I mostly tinker with Go, Node.js, Kubernetes, and AWS.
OTel Map
An open-source tool I created to generate OpenTelemetry service maps. It helps visualize distributed traces, because blindly staring at raw JSON logs eventually makes you go crazy.
I’m all about creating robust REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and domain-driven systems. Lately, I’ve been super focused on observability to make sure everything runs smoothly in production without waking me up at 2 AM. Sleep is important.
Languages: Go, TypeScript, C#, Ruby (the classics never die)
Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS (specifically ECS & Fargate, because managing my own servers sounds like a nightmare)
Observability: OpenTelemetry, Metrics, Distributed Tracing, Logging (so I can actually see what broke)
Tools: GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Linux (and a lot of StackOverflow)
